Why I Write
It’s kind of funny, isn’t it? Spending hours crafting words, putting your thoughts into sentences, and throwing them into the void of the internet… not knowing if anyone will ever see them.
But here’s the thing—I don’t write because I need an audience. I write because I need to write. Because there’s something freeing about letting thoughts flow onto a page (or a screen) without worrying about who will read them. It helps me process my thoughts better, making them feel complete instead of leaving them hanging in my mind, unfinished and overshadowed by new ones.
If a blog post goes up and no one reads it, does it even exist? Absolutely. Because I wrote it. Because it was real to me.
Writing, for me, is like having a conversation with myself. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s deep, and sometimes it’s just pure nonsense. But it’s mine. Writing gives my thoughts structure it forces me to articulate what’s in my head in a way that actually makes sense, at least to me.
And if one day, someone else stumbles upon my words and feels something whether it’s a laugh, a nod of agreement, or a moment of clarity then that’s just a bonus.
So yeah, I write even when no one’s reading. Because at the end of the day, I’m writing for me first. And if you’re here reading this? Well… that’s pretty cool too.
